Trauma-Informed Reiki: Practice and Research Webinar

In this 30-minute webinar, Izzy Swanson will discuss the prevalence of trauma, specifically in those seeking Reiki. She will describe how to take a trauma-informed approach to practicing Reiki and the need for scientific research in this area. The 20-minute presentation will be followed by a 10-minute Q&A with the audience.

Izzy Swanson is a healer, teacher, and mentor specializing in the intersection of addiction, trauma recovery, and spiritual practice. Their blended approach to healing work integrates evidence-based research methodologies with intuitive guidance. This dynamic perspective allows them to forge progressive pathways for recovery and shape their work to support lived experiences in today’s world. Izzy focuses on the healing of emotional wounds caused by trauma, PTSD, and addiction and frequently works with clients who have autoimmune disorders, adrenal fatigue, and other stress-related health issues. Izzy is certified in the Trauma Conscious Yoga Method, Medical Reiki, and Usui Holy Fire Reiki. They own Transformation Reiki and the Feileacan Ministry Wellness Center in downtown Austin, Texas.
